How Our Association is Organized

We support cooperatives through a network of local contact points capable of responding to the needs of numerous productive and commercial sectors. Our governance tools guarantee coordination, participation, and sharing.

The Sectors of Legacoop Emilia-Romagna

We support cooperatives of every size and sector.

Our sectors cover a wide range of economic activities: housing, agriculture, industrial production, retail, healthcare services, education, and much more. Each sector may have sub-sections dedicated to the specific needs and challenges of that industry.

Legacoop’s Strength in the Territory

Ten local structures across Emilia-Romagna: one for each province and one in Imola.

We offer support and services to local cooperatives. We provide ongoing assistance in terms of legal consultancy, financial management, marketing strategies, and more, to ensure that cooperatives are well-managed and competitive.

We are networked. Exchanging cooperative value

Establishing a continuous dialogue with the social and economic world

The Association works in close collaboration with institutions, other cooperative and non-cooperative associations, universities, and private enterprises to promote the interests of cooperatives and expand opportunities for their members.

Our Organizational Model. Democracy and Participation

We believe in the power of the cooperative model to create economic and social value, capable of fostering active participation and individual responsibility in corporate decision-making.

Governance Commission

Verifies the dissemination and application of good cooperative Governance guidelines

Through regular assemblies and meetings, we discuss and vote on important decisions, strategic plans, and organizational changes. These gatherings ensure that every member has a say in the Association’s decisions.

Various working groups or committees may be formed to address specific issues or projects. These groups collaborate on themes such as innovation, sustainability, and social inclusion.
