Legacoop promotes the interests of cooperatives
Cooperatives at the heart of the decision-making process
Legacoop sustains, supports, and represents the cooperative model through regional policies. We act as a bridge between cooperatives and institutions, maintaining a constant and direct dialogue with regional authorities. Our active participation in regional commissions and working groups allows us to bring the needs of cooperatives to the center of the decision-making process. We ensure that the interests of cooperatives are always adequately represented. This constant commitment by Legacoop allows us to have a central role, capable of influencing the creation of laws and regulations in favor of cooperation.
Training
and awareness
Spreading cooperation as a driver of sustainable development
Through collaborations with universities and organizations, we are actively committed to creating research and development opportunities. These partnerships allow us to carry out training initiatives to strengthen the skills of male and female workers. Our awareness-raising activities spread the cooperative model and its benefits, both among the general public and with policymakers. We promote an environment favorable to the growth of cooperatives. In this way, we protect our cooperatives while actively working to implement the cooperative model, particularly in those areas that enjoy fewer economic and infrastructural advantages. We believe, in fact, that through the cooperative model, a fair, ethical, and homogeneous development model can be achieved, where resources are distributed equitably.
